Conference Venue

Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center is situated on the shore of Lake Monona just two blocks from the Wisconsin State Capitol building in downtown Madison. Originally designed by world-renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938, Monona Terrace was completed in 1997 by Wright’s successor firm Taliesin Architects.

The building’s unique features and striking interiormake for a cheerful and intellectually stimulating space with captivating and unobstructed views of the lake. Moreover, its efficient and forward-looking design has earned it LEED Gold Certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB) program. This is the first such designation for any convention center in the U.S.

Monona Terrace is within easy walking distance of downtown Madison, with its restaurants and cafes, as well as several area hotels. It is also situated on a bicycle/pedestrian trail that runs along the shore of the lake for several miles.
